We're Ready

Amsterdam allows fireworks, roman candles, firecrackers and the like to be sold and set off for a few days around New Year's. It's 5 pm, and the little booms and pops have been building all day. We've assembled our own little arsenal this year, eager to take part, and this is a test shot out in our back yard. I'm getting excited!!!

Greetings, gentle reader. I've been shuffling various ideas for blogs, wondering which creative musings I should put where, and it occurred to me that I really do need a place to share All Things Amsterdam.

I moved to this city-village two years ago, and here I reside happily with one kind man and two demanding felines on the edge of Amsterdam's center. Here I will cover my various Dutch (mis)adventures and provide tips that I hope will prove helpful to visitors.
