Ahoy, Amsterdam fans!
Majestic, old tall sailing ships from around the world are making their way into Amsterdam as I write this, and it promises to be a very nice few days of activities. The ships are docking at various spots near The IJ, so your best bet is to head toward the back of Centraal station and follow the crowd. I read that the free ferry over to Amsterdam Noord will continue to run, and this is a great way for folks to see the ships from the water.
There will be fireworks over The IJ starting at 10:15 pm Friday night, at 10 pm on Saturday night. Go on over to this site for a full schedule of the activities.
That should be quite a spectacle!
